"...In XXI century those countries will be developed, where wind power develops rapidly"

United Nations Development Programme of the World Energy
Enterprises Azovenergo and Azovenergomash
were established for the purpose of the wind power projects development
and for increasing the energy independence of Ukraine,
without making damage to the environment.

Strategy

According to the updated "Energy Strategy of Ukraine till 2030",
in our country in 2030 should be generated at least 30% of all energy
from renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, water, rivers, and other.

11¢ European Green Tariff

Currently, in Ukraine wind power industry develops rapidly due to the adoption of one of the highest green tariff for wind energy in Europe — 11 EUR cents per 1 kW·h until 2030.

20 wind power plants in Ukraine

More than one third of put into operation WPPs are located in the Zaporozhye region, a little bit less — in the Crimea and the Donetsk region. Based on this, private enterprises "Azovenergo" and "Azovenergomash" were established for the implementation of wind power projects in coastal areas of Akimov district of the Zaporozhye region.

150+ wind generators will be installed

Annual wind monitoring allowed to select and take the most attractive places for the wind generators installation, as well as sites for the location of the office and control premises, installation of auxiliary equipment, laying of underground communications and travel arrangements to all facilities to ensure ongoing monitoring and periodic maintenance.

4-5y Payback period

Operation of wind power plant will allow significantly reduce CO2 emissions into atmosphere. Wind power plant operation with the installed capacity of 445 mW will allow to reduce annual emissions by 1.3 million tonnes compared with the coal plant, or by 541 thousand tonnes — with the station on natural gas.

Facilities location and wind potential

The project includes the installation of two complexes of wind power plants
with the installed capacity of 175 MW (Azovenergomash) and 270 MW (Azovenergo).

Similar projects

Botievo WPP

The largest wind power plant in Ukraine, located near the Primorsky Posad village of Azov district of the Zaporozhye region. The installed capacity of Botievo WPP is 200 MW; according to the plan, Botievo WPP will annually generate approx. 686 million kWh of "green" power per year.

Novoazovsk WPP

Wind power plant near the Nameless Novoazovskiy village Donetsk region. Actual capacity of the plant is 79.3 MW (in 2012). The design capacity is 107.5 MW. Novoazovsk WPP will generate 85,934 million KWh of power per year.

Ochakovskaya WPP

Wind power plant located in Ochakov district of the Nikolaev region. The Wind park consists of three fields: one — with the length of 6 km and the other two — 10 km. On each of them it is planned to install 50 wind turbines with the total capacity of 37.5 MW.

Tarkhankutskii WPP

Wind power plant located in the Black Sea region of Crimea; It has 127 wind generators. On wind field were prepared areas for maintenance of wind turbines, technological and driveways. Building for central control of the plant, repair workshops and premises for staff were built.
